Montreal, August 8, 2018 – Top Aces Inc. (Top Aces) Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), Jamie Neggers, was recently named a 2018 Women in Defence Award recipient by Australian Defence Magazine (ADM) . Selected as the winner in the category “Technical Trade,” she was presented with the award on July 27, 2018 at a gala dinner held in Canberra. Jamie has been with Top Aces since 2011.
The ADM Women in Defence Awards were launched as a way to celebrate talented, determined, successful women who make a positive impact in the defence industry in one of seven different categories.
“This is very well-deserved recognition for all of Jamie’s hard work and determination in setting up our successful maintenance team in Australia,” said Chief Operations Officer, Didier Toussaint. “She has done an outstanding job in the last 6 months leading a multinational maintenance team; setting up this operation from scratch a year ago to where it stands today with a 98% daily mission availability rate. This award and the success we are having in Australia supporting the RAAF is a testament to Jamie’s leadership, determination, resourcefulness and initiative.”
